General Mills introduces Knack&Back Mini-Pizzen Kit to the German market in March 2021. The product consists of eight dough pieces for shaping into mini pizza bases and a packet of Mediterranean tomato sauce. Consumers are then free to add their favorite toppings. This is the type of launch that, under “normal” circumstances, would probably not attract too much attention, but which, in midst the COVID-19 pandemic, gains new relevance for responding to changing consumer needs.
