Nestlé presents the Australian market with a novel type of beverage, based on the dried fruit pulp that surrounds the coffee bean (“cascara” in Spanish), a part of the coffee berry, which would usually be discarded. The result is a beverage with a bouquet of fruity, floral and earthy notes, launched as Nescafé Nativ Classic. To amplify the range by two further variants, the company infuses the drink with native Australian botanical flavors, thus giving rise to Lemon Myrtle and Pepperberry and Kakadu Plum.
