Plant based dairy expands - US

One year ago, Oregon based Take Two Foods hit the market with its line of barley milks made from the brewery industry’s waste barley grains: Original Unsweetened, Chocolate, Vanilla and Chef’s Blend, a creamier version ideal for cooking, baking & frothing. Thus far available across the Pacific Northwest from select retailers, including Whole Foods, the company announced this month that it was to expand its geographic reach to California, the Midwest and the Northeast, thereby achieving a distribution network of 340 stores in 23 states.
