One of the biggest challenges facing the industry is that packaging “real estate” is limited, with must-haves such as nutritional and shelf life information and product photos or graphics leaving limited room for consumer-desired transparency.
One of the biggest opportunities for growth is to broadly expand the use of smart labels including QR codes, allowing for deep dives into product and usage information as well as opportunities for consumers to deepen their engagement with brands.
